Creepy, Spooky, Ghosty Stuff

I just can't seem to find anything very good like this...

I really liked Lenzi's Ghosthouse...

Poltergeist was good, too...But there just hasn't been anything like that in such a long time

I need some ideas in this department

Something with atmosphere...A Creepy feel...like in the Silent Hill Games...You know that feeling, right?

Ju-on did it pretty well...

I want something that makes me feel something...I know you guys know what I'm talking about...Something that makes you feel a little uncomfortable...Well, I can't really explain it...

Is there ANYTHING out there?...Anything with/about ghosts?...Anything supernatural that is actually GOOD?

BTW...Just to let you know...I wasn't impressed with Suspiria at all...

Join the club. Good use of colors, but that was about it.

I can't help ya on this one though because The Frighteners was pretty much the only ghost movie I liked and that's like half slasher anyways. Skeleton Key was cooler than any ghost movie I can think of (except Frighteners) because I could possibly see it happening. (The fact that the main character is a total skeptic like me probably made this feel more real to me.)

Cannibal Holocaust was the only one I've seen that made me uncomfortable. I don't enjoy watching real animals getting killed and I'm sure you know which part I'm refering to when I say I had to cross my legs.

It's funny that you mentioned Frightners because it's one of the few ghost movies that I absolutely LOVE...But, it's FAR from creepy...It's more like a comedy to me...

The 'uncomfortable' feeling I'm looking for isn't like 'disgust' or anything like that...It's more of a "oooh, that's freaky", heart-rate altering, slightly tense, scalp tingling from your hair trying to stand up, shift your sitting position, kinda 'uncomfortable'...Know what I mean?

I want spoooooooky

@Dave...I did like The Eye...But, it's not really like what I'm looking for right now

Have you seen Skeleton Key? It didn't neccesarily spook me, but it might give you what you're looking for. It was darker than I was expecting from a PG-13. (Not much gore though.)

How about Session 9?

The last line of that one literally sent chills down my spine

Oh yes...I actually liked that one much more than most people do

You guys are definitely on the right track because I REALLY liked Devil's Backbone and Session 9

I haven't seen:

Lemora: A Child's Tale
Dead Ringers
The Lady in White...Actually, that one seems familiar...I MAY have seen that one, but don't remember it...

Thanks, I'm going to look into those

Things that are there, but you can't see them...An unknown threat...Supernatural 'creepy'...Like Final Destination stuff, Silent Hill, Stay Alive, Madhouse, Dead End...THOSE were awesome

Wow, I don't know of many people that liked BOTH Stay Alive & Skeleton Key but both were pleasent surprises for me. I thought they were both really good and I NEVER expect PG-13 horror to be very good.

The only ghosty, creepy, spooky movie that I know of and really love is: House on Haunted Hill (1958). It's an old movie, but has Vincent Price and really good plot twists.

Yeah, I like a lot of things that most people don't...I think that's part of the reason that it's really difficult for people to give me recommendations...Different tastes...But, I HAVE found some really good ones that were mentioned it this forum at times...That's why I keep asking :)
