Conceivably you could have different groups of viewers who always watch their favourite character's point of view - it would be brilliant, and the potential for character development is enormous. Piers Anthony did something similar to this in the Incarnations of Immortality series, where portions of all of the books overlapped, and you got to see things from different perspectives. in most of the books, the Devil is evil, but in the devil's book, he is just doing a job that is needed by the cosmos. Pretty interesting.
