Well, it didnt really get bad until it started trying to explain stuff. I didnt really mind the first hour or so, just your typical haunted asylum flick...kinda stupid, but not really awful. Once it started trying to explain stuff though....ouch. The whole deal with Jacob was so full of clichés and plot holes it was sickening. The actor playing him wanted to be Robert Englund so bad you could almost taste it. Flayed, I dont think I hated it quite as much as you did - but I can sure understand why you loath it so much.

Finally saw one of my most wanted, "Seven". Not nearly as disturbing as I always thought it was, but a good film nonetheless.

not scary, but engrossing as hell. The mood, the pacing, the acting, the sound design, the gore...it all sucks you in. I enjoy this film more every time I see it.
