Human Foot Washes Up On Beach
Human Foot Is Washed Up On Beach
England - Tests are being carried out on a human foot, which has been found washed up on a beach in Dorset. The unclothed foot was discovered by a walker on Chesil Beach, west of Portland Harbour, near Weymouth. Police are keeping an open mind on whether it belongs to schoolboy Kyle Moore, who has been missing since the boat he was in capsized off Portland. A spokesman for Dorset Police said Kyle's family have been informed of the find and were being kept aware of any developments. The foot was found by a man on Saturday and it was taken by police to the mortuary at Dorset County Hospital, in Dorchester, ahead of forensic examinations. The discovery prompted a further search of the beach by police, but they did not find anything. Kyle, 14, and his friend Richard Webb took a boat from a boatyard at night on Sunday, 26 November. It capsized in the dark and Richard, also from Portland, was picked up in the sea by the coastguard about one hour later. There has been no trace of Kyle since.
