I wish I could remember. I honestly have not the slightest idea. I think the first '18' rated movie I saw at the cinema was Robocop 2 and I felt bad as I wasn't old enough! I guess the first at the cinema was probably something like Freddy's Dead. But I of course had seen hundreds on TV and video before that. I think it was probably some lame kiddie horror I saw first and then stuff like Carrie, Alien and The Thing.

I was about 3 or 4, made me forever fascinated with horror films and special effects...not to mention completely obsessed with lycanthropy. |

It was one of the living dead's. I don't remeber which one, it had to be somewhere between 78 and 80. I just remember being really young between 4 and 6. I covered my eyes through almost the whole movie. I wish a horror movie could still do that to me.

Great thread. I was actually talking to a co-worker about this today. The first horror movie I saw was the original Night of the Living Dead. I was 5 years old. It was Holloween & I try to watch it every Halloween since. I've missed a few but I've watched it almost every Halloween since.

The bus scene at the beginning has haunted me forever. It is one of my favorite scenes because it was the first one I ever saw. When I watch it now, I know it shoulsnt be that scary, but it still scares the pants off me! |

Invasion of the Body Snatchers *1978 version* I was 7. Scared the crap out of me. What made it worse was that I saw it at my grandmothers and she used to have this big usually overflowing, overgrown garden behind her house and she grew ALOT of cabbage. I remember the plants reminded me of the pods. lol I didnt go into her backyard the rest of the summer.
