HORROR, its a psychological thing.

Studies have shown that horror movies help release certain "endorphins" in those who are high strung and suffer from Post traumatic stress. Tests have been done with individuals who came back from war a little "shook up", and through exposure to horror flicks, somehow they were able to relax and regain control of their nerves. (I will locate the specific links as to where i read this).

Basically, i find that it is true.
I love horror movies. Always have.
From a young age, i was always attracted to the everything that fits the mold to horror.
I have memories attached to watching certain films on certain days, where life seemed to be so perfect.

But I also enjoy horror movies VERY much when my nerves are on edge, or i'm a little depressed, etc.

Whats your take?

Anyone feel the same way?
