Well.

Stay Alive

The movie was slow in the begining. Alot of cut away death scenes. But it is natural for a PG-13 horror flick. I liked the fact that they used fuck alot more then normal. There is definately an okay ammount of blood. The acting is alright. Not the best ever but when is it great in horror flick. The plot is definately original and I like how the story went. Its gets alot better the last half hour of the movie.

I will give it a B-/C+

I liked it. Pretty fast paced & violent. Lots of big names & a good storyline. I may be biased because I'm a big Josh Hartnett supporter (He's from my hood) but I thought this was probably his best acting job in a starring role. (I really liked his part in Sin City too, but it was barely more than a cameo.) Bruce Willis, as usual, was excellent too and I was surprised to find that Lucy Liu didn't really annoy me as much as usual. Good acting, directing, violence, story... All in all, a really solid, entertaining film.

A-
the thing i didnt like about that film is it didnt have very much action. i went into that film expecting Bruce Ass Kickin'

Doom
7.7/10

i really liked this one. The first half of the movie was pretty stupid, and i was expecting more stupidness, but man did it get good. sure, it had a really stupid part here and there, but damn was some of that action and gore cool. beat the shit out of that atrocious silent hill.

Well, it's a far cry from Kill Bill or Hard Boiled in terms of fast paced action, but I guess I didn't go into it expecting anything like that. I was expecting a cool hitman story and that was pretty much what I got. There wasn't a ton of fighting action (none really), but there was a good deal of violence and people getting killed and that compensated for me. I liked it. :)

true. my favorite part is when bruce just stands there infront of the wall, the guys bust through and he takes them out. i just wish there was more of that because that was bad ass.

Phantom of the Opera (1989)

Love this version! One of Englund's best non-Freddy roles.
