I like horror sound effects records too, actually, so, if I may ask, how is the one that comes with this set? Is it in its own separate case or something? And are the sound effects any good, like something a horror or Halloween buff might enjoy putting on and listening to?

I won't bullshit you and say it's spectacular or anything, but it's perfect for a halloween party. Reason being it only has one track that goes on (I think) for about an hour. They're reasonably creepy sounds, mostly atmospheric bizzareness. It comes in it's own little cardboard case inside the tin.

If you're considering buying this I think it would be a very good purchase. I think both you and Rod would get a kick out of the set.

I wish I would have known about that set when I was just starting my collection...I have all of them except for Horror Hotel, but it looks like an awesome set.
