I remember seing Nosferatu when I was just a kid, and I was totally freaked out. Max Schreck (is this the correct spelling??) still looks creepy event by today's standards!

not my favorite horror film (one of them)
but to me it's a classic horror film,
perfect in it's execution in every way - and it
set the bar for me personally ...

- classic good against evil story
- excellent mature actors
- old school sensational kills
- part road film/fish out of water/buddy film/mystery movie

(i liked the unlikely partnership between prim and proper gregory peck and the disheveled david warner)

all the elements i love in film rolled into one ...
One o fmy favorites. Even more enjoyable after listening to the commentary. Richard Donner is a riot, and it is clear that they really enjoyed making it. PLus, it wasnt the only antichrist to come oout in 1976. (hey, i just turned 30....)

Indeed, Growing up I was always used to seeing the suave Lugosi-esque vampire, so when I did see a Bald vampire with huge teeth I'm like.....Fuck that Nosferatu IS SWEEEET

All time fave

Absolutely agreed. No suave, no charm, just straight up evil & terrifying.

Nosferatu is definitely my number one horror film. ( Notice my screen name.) Its great to hear from others who still enjoy it. Max Schreck is the greatest vampire. His performance at the end is so touching.

Did any of you guys liked salem's lot? I thought it was pretty good. (Since it was inspired by Nosferatu)

Side Note: If you have seen Salem's lot and know anything about cars, could someone PLEASE tell me what kind of car Mr Strayker was driving, I've always wanted a car like that.

I'm sorry to get off subject.
