Remember - the name is there - in the pop culture concious / subconcious. even if young people havent seen the origional omen/amityville/etc etc ... the name is already out there .. it is something familiar. I thionk thats a strong selling feature.. sort of a built in audience.

I'd watch a remake of this. Clooney is a badass. I just hope he doesnt have a bad acceptance speech and spread "smug" throughout the movie
