I used to, back around '98-'99. The game itself is still fun, but the online community is beyond shitty. I'd suggest checking out the Warhammer 40K miniature game if you want to see where Blizzard stole their ideas from.

A new version of startcraft is in the works. i saw an article in passing in the new pc gamer, but have not had a chance to read it yet.
Never played the original, which is a shame.
