What Movie Is This?

I'm trying to find a horror flick I saw as a kid. Unfortuntely I have no idea what the name of it is. The basic premise, from what I can remember, is that two young tourists are going by bus throughout Latin America. For some reason they decide to get off the bus and hike to a nearby village. An old woman warns them against this, but they proceed anyway. Once there they learn that all the inhabitants of this little town are leaving for the night, but no one will say why. The backpackers are warned to leave, but they decide to stay. Well, once midnight rolls around they learn why everyone was fleeing. It seems that for one night out of the year Satan and his legions visit the town and harvest any souls they come across. The legions of hell march through the streets in some seriously creepy robes while beating drums, etc. The two backpackers find shelter in an older gentleman's home along with his young daughter. However, it seems that they are not of this time period or something. Thant's all I can remember. Can anyone tell me what movie I'm thinking of? There's a possibility it may be foreign and dubbed into english, but I'm not sure since I was so young when I saw it.

Thanks!

Not a problem. I'm hopeful that someone on here will know what this flick is.

Why don't you post this down in the "modern movie" section.[as long as its 1970s or newer, anything before that post it in the "classic horror movie" section]
There's this dude down there who goes by the name of "urgeok".....shhhh...we don't usually speak his name up in these parts. He's one scary dude but he knows his movies. He never comes up to this part of town. Give it a shot.........just don't look him in the eye.
