Legend of the Werewolf...

Anyone ever see this Hammer rip-off directed by Hammer vet Freddy Frances? It's pretty bad, but the werewolf's yak hair isn't bad. Looks a lot like Curse of the Werewolf.

Yeah I agree , it's pretty bad . The werewolf's not bad but we don't see enough of it . The only reason for watching it is good old Peter Cushing .

This is one of the first films I rented when movies first started coming out on home video, and it was a bit disappointment - a clone of CURSE OF THE WEREWOLF, but not as good. I could forgive the weak script, but I expect better visuals from Freddie Francis.

I remember seeing this film when I was quite young and loving it... and then seeing it a few years later and being seriously disappointed. :D

Peter Cushing always brings class to his movies, and the werewolf makeup was impressive for the time (1975? or thereabouts) but it lost me when the werewolf started talking - that seemed to take away from a lot of its credibility - for me anyway.
