oh, i must've just thought it as scary. Evil dead was my first demon film after countless funny horrors liek scream and cursed, so it spooked me a bit. Just the "were gonna put you in a cage in hell!" and stuff. I think the last 15 minutes were the best part though, in that house when the blood goes on the movie screen and then he saws everyone to death. But ED2 is obviously made to be hilarious, like with the tapping hand waiting for him to shoot.

it's just so over the top ..
when i 1st saw it i was beyond being scared by a film ..but i sure was entertained..

i remember several times laughing and saying 'holy fuck!'

(laughing at the outrageousness of it)

Either way, I still think the scream trilogy is the funniest humor horror out there, and it helps when they give the little shout outs to other movies, like the evil dead reference in scream 2, do you know what i'm talking about?

i enjoyed the references to other horror flicks in scream 1 and 2 ..
absolutely hated scream 3 .. except for the jay and silent bob cameos

Yeah, in S2 they had the "bruce walks in the room and the camera spins around so you see the whole room and then it comes arouind to him again" reference. Did you catch that? lol
