Thinking of Buying

If there's a thread like this I didn't see it. I just want to be able to post what I'm thinking about buying and then have people who own it tell me if it's worth it or not. The three on my list right now to go pick up soon are as follows.

Pink Panther Cartoon Collection
Alfred Hitchcock Signature Collection
Hithcock Masterpiece Collection

Anybody have one of these? Are they nicely done or should I pick up different version of the film seperatly? Does the cartoon set have any of those anteater cartoons on it?

Thumbs up I got the Pink Panther cartoon collection

I have The Pink panther cartoon collection and I would highly recommend it, there are 125 episodes (13 hours) on 5 discs, the packaging is excellent. I got it at Walmart for under 40.00 dollars and am sure that the Ant and Aardvark cartoons are also included in the collection. I loved this cartoon as a kid and Just had to have it, You'll love it.:D

I used to just LOVE the Pink Panther cartoons! I'm glad they put them out, that's really neat!

I got a season of Lost in Space episodes (the third season color episodes, which I always thought looked nice) and have been watching it bit by bit. Lotta fun stuff.

Ok here's another one.
I'm thinking of buying the Rocky and Rambo boxsets but should I wait for Rambo 4 and Rocky Balboa (sp) to come out first because they'll probably release another set? Your opinons please...

You can always buy the Rocky box set and when Balboa is released on dvd just throw Rocky 5 out the window and put Balboa in the box.

Ok, I could:
a) Buy the Wrestlemania Anthology box set for the 100$+
or...
b) Rent them on Netflix and copy them

which should I do? (keep in mind, I'm flat broke)

Obviously netflixing them is more cost effective and I want that set too but I'm a big DVD nut. I want all the packaging, all the inserts... I don't know I'm weird like that. If you netflix em' let me know if there are a ton of WWF logos blurred out. That would ruin it for me.

yeah, I'm a movie/DVD nut, too, but I don't have any sort of steady income, so I've got to get them however I can.

You can always copy from netflix to watch and have for now, then somewhere down the line when you have the money, you can buy the set.

I've done it before, downloaded stuff...bought cheap bootleg copies ect. Then later on bought the actual dvd.
