Thumbs down boogeyman

i just saw boogeyman last night and when i tell you it stunk. i woudnt even waste my money on it. this time the critics were right. i feel bad for the people who spent money to see it at the show. they should have paid people to see it. it is not worth it to rent it. it was boring from beginning to end.

Boogyman

Ya it was a dog. Howerer, one thing I have noticed, is that even in the worst movies, if you give it a chance, you can find at least one good moment. In the Boogyman, that moment came for me when the mother came under possision in the kitchen. She was wearing that white gown long black hair and suddenly begain to rise up off the ground and a piece of the mirror spirled off the ground and covered her left eye. Some of the ambent light glared off the mirror on her eye.Chilling affect.

I paid for this in theatres, and was very dissapointed. It was targetted at pre-teens, but even they aren't this desperate for a good movie. The entire thing confuse dme, and the end monster was just ridiculously done. However, I did like the scene with the mother. Only redeeming quality.

The bad thing is that it could have been very good. The story line was there...it just wasn't utilized the way it should have been. It was a film that could have had the errieness and thrill of any other top grade horror film, but the makers simply dropped the ball...then tripped on it...then broke their femurs. Sad thing when a movie with potential is ruined because of lack of vision by its makers.

The very beginning scene, where the thing slaughters the kid's dad, is good. From there the movie really goes down the shitter.

I was laughing my ass off at that scene! IMO, it was really poorly done effects wise + it's one of the stupidest ideas Ive ever seen. But I guess it wasnt that bad in comparison to the rest of that crappy-ass pile of garbage...
