I watched Dr. Strangelove yet again today. Sellers, Scott, Pickens... magnificent. It's truly amazing that a film that's nearing forty-five years old can still be so timely and accurate today. Brilliant, brilliant film, a true classic. If you haven't seen it yet, put down whatever you're doing and watch now!

I loved that movie Noc, I have the set with the photo book and the nice slipcase. A really great addition to my collection and a BRILLIANT film. If anybody needs a second nod before they pick it up here it is. *NOD*

Shaolin Soccer
After seeing Kung Fu Hustle, I had to check this one out. I wasn't disappointed either. Like KFH, it was fresh, stylish and funny. I think the best way to sum it up might be to call it a kung fu movie meets the Bad News Bears. All in all, I enjoyed it, but be warned... It's subtitled so if that's not for you, this probably isn't either. Very entertaining. B Kicking and Screaming It's hard for me to figure out why some of Will Ferrell's movies are great and others just aren't. (Bewitched comes to mind) Like everything I've ever seen him in, Ferrell is way funny in this, but the problem was that he was the only bright spot. RObert Duvall is pitifully miscast and the script sucked. Will's funny, but apparently he can't carry a movie with no supporting help for an hour and a half. I was a bit disappointed in this one... Mike Ditka would have made a better father character than Duvall did, but that's just my opinion... C
