Hallowe'en Decorations

As you know, around this time of year people are putting up Halloween decorations. I would like to see what anyone here is putting up! On one wall over here at my place, I have stapled up a couple of old cardboard cutouts...just 10 years ago, these designs (which originated in the 60's, I believe, with the Beistle company) could still be bought at some local stores. Now they're officially old, and collectible! Eeeeek! It's too much! Anyway I remember these from way back. The pumpkin, I remember that design hung up in elementary school classrooms back in the 70's. They made me bob for apples! I still remember having a cold wet head of hair.

Anyone got photos of their Halloween decs?

All Hallows Eve is defininately more an american thing. No one in the UK does more than have a bowl of sweets ready at the front door. Some of the more family orientated may play tradition games like bob-apple but apart from the mainstream tv channels showing horror films there isnt too much to look forward to

Last year we had a skeleton in the drivers seet of a Mustang with some cool strobe effects and one other thing. We made a table out of some stiff cardboard with a hole in the middle and then one of us got under the table and stuck our head through with an evil monkey mask on. We scattered treats all over the table and sat still so it looked like a mask sitting on the table and then when somebody went to reach out and grab the candy scared them. Worked really well, looked like the mask was thrown on the table as a lazy attempt to decorate.

It was difficult but obviously easier than spelling "seat".
