Checking pm's

When I first Joined a little box poped up whenever you had a pm. But for the last nine months It is not Working. or at least mine isn't. anyonelse having this problem?
I have Sent Bwind, Zwot, The return and Newb all pm,s. and they have not been read.
So just wondering if they are having the same problem as me.

Not that problem, but some of my pm's are sent thru twice for no apparent reason and sometimes even though I haven't read them yet-the [deny receipt] has already been taken off....which is a little disconcerting...I mean how many people have access to my pm box?

Maybe they just don't like you....

But seriously, no I don't have a problem with my pms besides that sometimes I get two of the same one which I think is a problem with the other person's box instead of mine.

Yeah, I get email notices when I get a pm so I've figured out that when you get one whenever you leave the section/thread you're in the box should pop up saying ok or cancel. Works fine for me. Although like I said I do get two of the same pm sometimes, not sure if that's the other person's problem or mine but it doesn't bother me any.

Send a message via MSN to jenna26
It hardly ever alerts me. Occasionally the box will pop up, but not often.

Just my take on the situation:
I THINK if youre browsing without cookies, you will have to sign in to get the alert.
Does the little box that "only appears sometimes" usually appear after you have posted, or when going to a new page after signing in?
See, when you browse with cookies, it signs in automatically every time you come onto the site, even linked from your email, and the box will always immediately appear.
I believe you can select whether or not to browse with cookies in your settings.

the pop up box will only appear on a page change/refresh when you are browsing the forum while signed in (be that manually or by using cookies)
