Equilibrium
Not horror, so sue me.
I just saw it for the first time last night, and i cant help but feel like i was left out of some wonderful loop back in 2002. It looked very much in some parts that the writer/director said "I want to make this better than the Matrix", and completely pulled it off. Christian Bale is certainly a better actor that Keanu (dont get me wrong, i Like Keanu) I absolutely loved the explanation for how he was able to shoot and dodge the way he did. very original. I also like that all it took was a dog to flip his "switch" And the "Lobby" scene at the end was leaps and bounds above the lobby scene in the matrix. i never thought that one could be topped, but holy shit did it ever.

I love this movie; someone from another board recommended it to me. I had never heard of it. I wasn't expecting to be impressed, but I certainly was.:D I like it better than The Matrix as well; both are smart films but Equilibrium had more heart I think. And Bale is a much better actor then Reeves, he carries the movie.

I loved The Matrix...Christian Bale is awesome...I cant see how I wouldnt like this, looking forward to it.
