Thank you so much for giving me the name of that movie. I just ordered it off ebay.. that was the only place I could find it. Did I give the right description of it? I was like, 4 when my mom let me watch it and I haven't seen it since. But anyway, thanks so much! ;)

Some films have stood the test of time very well in terms of scariness, such as Salem's Lot, Halloween and The Fog.
For these three movies, just hearing a bit of the title music is enough to make me unsettled - perhaps this is down to the skill of the filmaker, or perhaps it's down to childhood memories when we used to absorb films in a different, less cynical way?
