Y - The Last Man

A post semi-apocalyptic story, about a young escape artist named Yorick. His latest escape - Not dying, when, evidently EVERY SINGLE other male on the planet has...oh, and neither did his pet monkey, also male.
Disease?
Act of the gods?
Terrorism?
Not really quite sure yet.
I've thus far read issues 1-10, and it's VERY very good...it's interesting to see this writers perception on how the females of the world would deal with this crisis.
He has people hunting him down, scientists want him for research and cloning, the "amazons" (I won't spoil it) want him dead, and the rest want him for, well, breeding purposes.
It's exciting, scary, and the action is....very brutal.
Some issues are a little slow, but overall, the story arc is well worth while to follow.

Those that like reading "not quite average" comics would enjoy this title greatly. Nice art, nothing special...it's mainly in the dialogue and action, reads like a movie.

I'm not sure if it's still running, it has went for quite a while...you'd probably need to find back issues, or, yet again, go with soulseek...you won't be dissapointed.

Y: THE LAST MAN is indeed still going strong.

It's released every month in the single issue format... and the 4th graphic novel/TPB collection just hit the stands recently.
