Yeah, just thought I'd let you guys know about this...Australian guy, the first Aussie to be taken hostage by militants in Iraq, and has been held hostage for like, over a month now. Anyways, he's just been rescued in a joint operation between the US, Aust, and Iraq military, along with one other Iraq person being held hostage...it's really something, like EVERYONE here was assuming the guy was done for, I feel kinda bad, knowing the amount of people that HAVE been killed in similar situations, but I guess it goes to show that there is always hope. Thank God SOMETHING'S made a turn for the better. I'm glad to see he seemed to be in good spirts after all that, I'da never been the same.

i have a job selling military books on base. particularly, one about operation iraqi freedom. i talk with the marines about it, they always go 'oh i was there. oh i remember that'
