Gimme' your classics...
Hey, I was wondering if you guys could together compile me a list of classics that were made very early, as in 1920's through the 1950's. I just watched Nosferatu today and loved it, so now I want more. So just give me some good classics I could check out.

Here are a few of my favorites, some have already been mentioned around here obviously and some you have probably seen, but here it goes:
The Black Cat (1934) The Body Snatcher (1945) Freaks (1932) The Curse of the Cat People (1944) The Bad Seed (1956) The Old Dark House (1932) The Walking Dead (1936) The Wolf Man (1941) The Phantom of the Opera (1925) A lot of Boris Karloff on here. I'll think of more later, I am sure.:p Last edited by jenna26; 05-21-2005 at 09:42 PM. |

The Black Cat (1934) Interesting adaptation of Poe. Dracula's Daughter (1936) An excellent sequel to Bela's Dracula. Night Monster (1942) Good, creepy mystery. The Body Snatcher (1945) Some good jolts. The Picture of Dorian Gray (1945) The best version, by far. Night of the Demon (1957) Classic, classic, classic! |
