MY thoughts exactly...
You just have to watch Pulp Fiction to see how good John Travolta is - mind you, everyone in the movie is amazing...the movie itself is a fucking masterpiece

John Travolta has been in some junk movies .. but he's still a very solid and watchable actor .. he has a real charm/charisma that goes beyond Saturday Night Fever or Michael.

I thought Face Off was a mint film and showcased what both of these guys were capable of beautifully. (the movie is an actors dream ..switch from goodguy to villian)

i'd never judge an actors ability by a shitty film .. just by his performance.

i said in my 1st post i couldnt choose ... too tough for me.
they've both given gret performances in great films and good performances in so-so films ..

they both do comedy, drama, and action equally well ...

impossible for me to choose .. and i wond do it based on who is in more bad movies (I blame the directors/writers/editors for that)

"Dude... he's like so fuckin' garage man"

I really enjoyed Face/Off it was a great overblown in your face style action movie. John Woo kicks ass I'm waiting on a copy of Hard Target (heaps of people hate this movie but I think its one of last really good late 80s - early 90s style action movie) to arrive which was the first Woo movie I ever saw. I love his over the top violence and far fetched crazyness.

Did Cage win an Oscar for Leaving Las Vegas? - I was trying to remember this yesterday. Has Travolta won an Oscar for anything (not that oscars mean shit I was just wondering).

I think Nicholas Cage is waaaaay better then John Travolta. His acting is far better and so is his movie. So what is your pick on the two bizzaro actors (even the number of letters in there names are backwards). Me Im totally going with Nicholas on this one.
John Travola would whoop his ass. Havent you watched Swordfish?
