Guys are fucking assholes
I know, Im not the type to post rants, and you dont have to reply, but I am soooo fucking pissed off and crying and just messed up right now, and you guys are the only ones I can really trust. Its a long story, so you dont have to read it.
Theres this guy that I am really really good friends with named Sam. He is also best friends with my brother. Lately we've been talking about how we have feelings for each other and stuff. So tonight he invites me over. It starts off completely innocent. We were watching some dumb Dennis Quaid comedy and talking about stuff. Eventually we start holding hands, and I lay my head on his shoulder. Then he whispered to me "Carly, can I kiss you" (probably the most romantic moment of my entire life) I nodded and we made out for like 2 minutes. I then layed my head back on his shoulder, I was really happy but I didnt want to break the really nice silence. He asked me "Whats wrong? Was that weird for you?" and I go "no, not at all Im just thinking" (I could tell you what I was thinking, but thats an even longer story) Then I asked him if it felt weird to him and he goes "Yeah, just the tiniest bit". I dont cry in front of other people, so I just sat there and on the drive home he used the old excuse "It's completely my fault, I hope we can still be friends, and Im so sorry. But I do really like you. Its just that your my best friends little sister". So I go "Well you know I had feelings for you, so maybe you shouldnt have kissed me if you didnt feel the same way". Fuck it, I could go on, but I dont want to bore you all. I just needed to rant. |

Hrmmmm.
Usually the generalization that ALL guys are assholes gets me thinking about all the nasty shit i have endured from women. but in this case i guess you have every right to think that way......... Men are assholes when it comes to uncomfortable silences and all that comes with making out with girls. they (or I) would rather dismiss the fact the feelings were there and go back to being friends rather than deal with all that kinda stuff implies. obviously this might not be the guy for you . Its not you. at all. The fact that you are indeed his best friends sister brings a lot of things to mind. like what is my BEST FRIEND gonna say when he finds out. or how much shit am i gonna take for this one and on and on and on....... dont know if this helped and i know you dont know me but he prolly aint worth feeling that way about if that is his response

Yeah I'm not to sure what I could say to make you feel any better. It's true he shouldn't have started it but then how could he know it was gonna be weird. I dated a "friend" once. Wasn't really weird for me but mabye it was for her since she broke it up. But it's all groovy now she is with one of my other friends.
 Bitch. Can bet I don't speak to either of them now. But screw all that there's plenty of time later in life. Dealing with college and shit now. |

No you guys are all so helpfull. I completely see his point of view. My brother probably wont find out, but I can see why that worries him.
My whole problem is that HE completely and totally initiated everything. and He KNEW that I had feelings for him. I just think he should have thought the whole situation through. thanks guys. |
