A TEENAGER was jailed yesterday after killing his horrified girlfriend’s cat, slicing off its paws and giving them to her — saying they would “bring her luck”.

Twisted Peter Bebbington went berserk after a fight. He waited until Michelle Tomkinson was out and beat pet Socks to death.

He shoved another cat, Clover, into a washing machine.

Michelle returned home in Crewe, Cheshire, in time to save it, but was slammed against a wall by Bebbington, 18.

He then tied a noose around the neck of Socks’ body and said: “You have been found guilty and will be hung.”

He cut the paws off, ate a pizza and refused to allow Michelle to leave until the next day, when she raised the alarm.

Chester Crown Court heard Bebbington had become “desensitised” while working in a slaughter house.

Judge Elgan Edwards told him: “I have had the misfortune to hear many upsetting and distressing cases.

"But I have never come across one which is quite so despicable.”

Bebbington was handed eight months in a young offenders’ institute after admitting animal cruelty and a further 12 months for affray.

Oh that is so horrible, they should castrate him and feed it to a cat. I don't know if its the same case or not, but I have seen pictures that were taking of some young boy torturing a cat, he also cut the cats paws off, it was so disturbing. I can't believe peope can be so cruel. :(
