Word of warning though:
I have a Geforce 4 Ti-4200, XP 3200+ and 512 MB of RAM and the game hitches at 800x600 max detail. Prepare for your system to get RAPED. Also, my stepdad has an XP 3200+, 1GB of RAM, and a Geforce FX 5950 Ultra and the only difference is his doesn't jerk at 800x600. He still can't really go any higher than that and have it be playable.

I know I'm only 46 but after playing Doom 3 for just 15 minutes I'm thinking of going to the store and pick up some Depends.[which is an adult diaper for the uninformed] Because I came close to shitting myself a couple of times already.So far this game rocks and is creepy as hell [ literally ]. The game looks great but I did boot out to my desktop a couple of times. Might have to update my video driver.

I'm having the same issue. Make sure to use the quicksave button, and use it OFTEN.
