He was awesome in Boogie Nights. When I went down to the hot tub last night I was actually thinking about that scene where him, Mark Wahlberg and John C Reilly were all in that hot tub together when Mark Wahlberg came up with the name Dirk Diggler.

That is so sad to hear. I loved Herschel! He also played Leslie Vernon's mentor and behind the mask. I know he was really old so I suppose it was just his time.

He was 76. 90 is really old.
