Well that's something I'd watch for sure, but I could probably find a couple of movies like that from the folks at lifetime movie network. Specifically I would just like to see more father/daughter or even father/son story lines in general, in the horror genre. It's usually the mother that's being blamed, or the mother who is trying to save her child,The Babadook, The Exorcist, etc. Not always though, but a lot of the time. I just find this curious.

The psychologist within me would love to explore these preferences.

There's The Road, but I wouldn't say its explicitly horror. The film House has a father trying to save his son. In The Shining the father is the culprit though the mother does some saving. I haven't seen it, but there's also Maggie. The father caring for his daughter slowly becoming a zombie. The remake of Thirteen Ghosts has a father saving both son and daughter.

I've seen all of these except Maggie. I googled it & it sounds quite interesting. I like the zombie angle too, so I'll check it out. Merci.

And now for my random thought of the day: Anyone on here do online dating? I've been using various online sites since June and it's exhausting.

I do. But without much effort. I imagine for women its very exhausting. From what I hear/read hetero women get loads of messages every day and its hard to sift through them. As well as vulgar sexual suggestions, straight couples wanting another women in bed, and so on.
I stopped sending messages due to lack of responses. The ones I get are from people with very little in common. Sort of blase' about it now. The women I'm interested in are very very few. I've tried a few sites that target goths and those have little activity and mostly 'weekend warriors' or metal heads. Tried geek2geek too and it is also mostly dead.
I think most dating websites need to have an option for women to only receives messages from men they themselves have categorized as possibilities while they're looking at profiles.
