Steak tartare, escargot, raw sashimi, all kinds of unidentified bits and peices at a yumcha, tripe, intestine, heart, liver, kidneys, brains, chicken feet...nothing I really consider "scary" myself, but hey.
If I don't like it, I just won't eat it again...no point being afraid of the unknown.

Um, those little snails. And actually they were very good, all sauteed in butter and garlic. But the thought that they were SnAILS still made me feel weird...I mean snails for chrissakes.

At the time (I was 9) I tried escargot, I wasn't at all apprehensive, and nobody told me what it was until I was served...of course, being young, the initial reaction was "gross", but when I actually ate it (I learned from eating grilled baby octopus at an early age, that different things can be quite worthwhile) I enjoyed it, to this day one of my favourite foods.

As for foods I don't like to eat, brussels sprouts (taste like poison), and fresh oysters...I CAN eat them, but don't like to without them being grilled, or fresh, but in ground pepper, a little tobasco, and lemonjuice, the acidity partially cooks it, nice flavour accentuation, but when they're raw, yeck...I still don't see the big deal, and avoid them more often than not...scary? no...a little confusing, yes.
