WRITE A SCRIPT!!!!!!
You need this in order to create a shotlist. Without a shotlist, you have no idea what you're doing and the film will be a trainwreck. Trust me on this one, I've done a TON of zero budget films with friends.
Please don't wing it, please. The script doesn't have to be great or even good, but you need a blueprint if you're going to make anything worth watching.
Planning is paramount to making a film - a little planning can make anything better.
Oh, and have a blast - look forward to seeing the movie.
