a few thoughts:

Hannibal Lecter as US President (who would be crazy enough to mess with us)

Al Swearingen (from Deadwood) - probably a natural politician

HAL 2000 as Us President (open the immigration doors Hal)

Tasmania Devil as President of the World (no doubt - best possible choice)
