British horror director Neill Marshall's "The Dark" is in development at Celador Films. The plot focuses on an all-woman spelunking adventure that goes terribly wrong. No casting has been announced, as the script is still in development with filming expected to begin in spring 2004.
Marshall's most recent film "Dog Soldiers" - which told the story of a group of Scottish military men attacked by werewolves - was noted for its fast pace and tight script, but low-budget effects. "The Dark" will be the third film written & directed by the young Brit.
