Blu-Ray Battle for Top Dog on the Shelf

Currently on Blu-ray is The Uninvited, the U.S. based remake of the Asian thriller, A Tale of Two Sisters. Read Horror.com's original theatrical release review here [1]. The Blu-ray disc has a 19-minute featurette called Unlocking the Uninvited, deleted scenes, and an alternate ending. Paramount's ghostly suspenser debuted at No. 5 on the sales chart and No. 6 on the rental chart having earned $28.6 million in theaters.

Summit Entertainment's vampiric romance, Twilight, seems to have life everlasting. In its seventh week in stores, the thriller is still at No. 6 on the First Alert sales chart.

Paramount's Blu-ray edition of the first season of classic 60s TV sci-fi series Star Trek debuted at No. 2 on the Nielsen VideoScan Blu-ray Disc chart this week, behind Bride Wars. Hotel for Dogs debuted at No. 8.
