A theater filled with families and small children expecting the new Disney movie was stunned when My Bloody Valentine 3D was shown instead. Some of the children became upset after watching ten minutes of the 3D splatterfest.

An Odeon Cinema spokesman said: "Odeon apologises for the human error which caused the wrong film to be shown for a short time. We have taken immediate steps to ensure that this mistake does not happen again."

All attendees' tickets were refunded, and they were also given complimentary passes to the movie of their choice.
