Repo! The Genetic Opera [1] had its world premiere at FANtasia in Montreal on Friday (July 18), to a sold-out crowd (in fact, reports state that people were actually scalping pix on the street!). Response was overwhelming, said the filmmakers, who were on hand for press interviews and an audience Q&A after the screening. Repo! The Genetic Opera opens in the United States via Lionsgate in limited release on November 7, 2008.
