But this year, Universal Studios Hollywood is pulling out all of the stops to make their offering - Halloween Horror Nights - stand out from the crowd. Taking it beyond the "house", Universal promises to put you right in the middle of a living horror film filled with haunted attractions, roaming actors, nightmare-inducing rides, and a lot more. Visiting the Universal Studios backlot at night sounds like a fun time to start with and all of the added horror-ness should make this a great time for horror fans who can make their way to Hollywood (on select dates) between October 13th and Halloween.
