Fresh from the critically-acclaimed "Adaptation", director Spike is Jonze-ing for something a little creepier. He and "Adaptation" scribe Charlie Kaufman are collaborating on an untitled horror project for Columbia Pictures. As with "Adaptation", Kaufman will write while Jonze handles the direction.

Jonze is well-known in the music business as the director of numerous music videos and video anthologies, from the Beastie Boys to Bjork to REM. His first non-musical full-length directorial duty was 1999's dark comedy "Being John Malkovich". His latest movie "Adaptation" garnered 4 Oscar nominations, including "Best Writing, Screenplay Based on Material Previously Produced or Published".
