"Blade: Trinity" & "Punisher" Pictures Online

Here are a couple of visually-enhanced updates on highly anticipated upcoming comic-to-film projects.

Blade: Trinity

Shooting has only been underway for a few days on the new Blade movie, but a Canadian website has already posted some exclusive pictures from the set. The "Blade: Trinity" images that their photographer captured show Wesley Snipes and a Snipes stunt double on the streets of Vancouver, where the movie is being filmed.

Trinity, the third movie in the Blade vampire hunter series, will star Wesley Snipes, Kris Kristofferson, Jessica Biel, and Ryan Reynolds. The movie is currently scheduled for release in August of 2004.

Punisher

A bunch of pictures from the Tampa, Florida, set of the upcoming "Punisher" movie have also been posted online. These pics are from scenes that are believed to be the finale of the movie, where Punisher Frank Castle confronts Howard Saint. The images show a huge building on fire as well as flipped over cars and gunplay by the stars of the movie.

The "Punisher" movie is a live action adaption the popular comic book by the same name. The plot revolves around an undercover FBI agent who is out for revenge/justice after his family is brutally murdered. The film stars Thomas Jane as Frank Castle/Punisher and John Travolta as his nemesis, Howard Saint. The CEO of Marvel, Avi Arad ("The Hulk", "X-Men", "Blade", etc.) is producing the film. "Punisher" is currently scheduled for an April 2004 opening.
