"Hills Have Eyes" Heading For Remake
Wes Craven to produce & Alexander Aja to direct reworking of horror camp classic.
Dimension Films is eyeing a remake of "The Hills Have Eyes". The original focuses on a family that makes a detour to a desolated desert to visit a silver mine they've inherited, and are then preyed upon by a disturbing clan.
The new script will be written by Alexander Aja and Gregory Levasseur, the French horror duo behind "Haute Tension" and "Furia". Aja will direct. No word yet on casting.

Enough with the F*****ing Remakes
You know F_U_C_K today's people! I am sick and tired of people trying to make classic horror movies look cool, that wont work cause they are ruining a classic. I say Stop the god dam remakes, who cares if people never saw these movies, they should go to their local video and rent it.

I agree totally with you guys and all of this remake stuff. What kills me is that most of the remakes are totally unnessary and on top of that they're trying to remake movies that don't need one. I mean really, you would think that they would try a little something called ORIGINALITY.......the true test of a true screenwriter.

If Aja doesn't mess up the ending like he miserably did with Haute Tension, it could be good. Still, do we really need remakes of movies like this ?
