Elvira's Back on the Big Screen

For those of you wondering what happened to the Mistress of the Dark (and pre-MST2K B-movie heckler extraordinaire) Elvira, she's back on the big screen with "Elvira's Haunted Hills". The movie - playing in Australia currently - was filmed in Romania. After years of writing scripts and failed deals with flaky production companies, Cassandra Peterson and partner Mark Pierson funded and produced the film themselves.

"Elvira's Haunted Hills" was originally conceived as a musical a la "The Rocky Horror Picture Show", but the budget allowed for only one major dance number. You can see stills from the movie here.
