"Monster" Producer To Bring "Santa's Slay"
Holiday-themed horror comedy in the works from producers of serial killer drama.
The company that brought us "Monster" - the acclaimed story of serial killer Aileen Wuornos - has teamed up with Rat Entertainment on the horror comedy "Santa's Slay", in which St. Nick turns out to be a devil who only kept his bad side in check after losing a wager with an angel. Now, both the bet and Santa's good cheer are over.
The movie is written and will be directed by David Steiman, who was Assistant Director on "Red Dragon", "Rush Hour", and "The Family Man". "Santa's Slay" will be Steiman's first directing experience. The film is currently in pre-production, and should start shooting in Alberta, Canada sometime in February.
