"The Ring 2" Gets Rolling

Walter Parkes - executive producer for the upcoming "The Ring 2" - told Sci-Fi Wire that the movie will likely begin shooting in March 2004. "We're actively trying to do our first pre-production right now," Parkes said in an interview.
Parkes wouldn't reveal the sequel's director. He only said that they've hired a "very interesting" but unknown director of commercials to helm the movie written by Ring scribe Ehren Kruger. Naomi Watts and David Dorfman will be back in their roles as Rachel Keller and her young son, Aidan.
As for the plot, Parkes was even more secretive. "It will come out of the issues raised in our first movie," but will not be based on either of the sequels to the Japanese horror film "Ringu".
"The Ring 2" is due to hit theaters in November 2004.

| Let get this straight 4 once.I HATE "THE RING"!!!!!I saw bits and pieces of the film in CineMax and it made no sense.For God's Sake people GROW UP!!!!!!!Make something that have Micheal Myers,Freddy Kruger,Jason Vorhees,Leatherface,or Chucky for once.Then I'll be happy that you didn't made a dumbass film!!!!!!GEEZ!!!!!! | |
