"Van Helsing" Coming To Your Playstation, Xbox

With all the videogame-based movies out ("Resident Evil", "House of the Dead", and the upcoming "Silent Hill"), it's good for variety's sake to see a a movie-based videogame in the works. Vivendi Universal Games has announced the 2004 release of a Playstation- and Xbox-compatible game based on the upcoming monster movie "Van Helsing".

The movie stars Hugh "Wolverine" Jackman as a notorious monster hunter, and Kate "Vampire Selene " Beckinsale as a 19th century lady committed to fighting evil. The game is a third-person action adventure set in the Transylvania.

"Van Helsing" the movie hits theaters - and the game hits your system - in May 2004.
