L.A. Horror Fans - See Dawn of the Dead & Brain Dead for Free

Hi there! I don't know what you're up to this Wednesday night, March 25, 2009, but I am DJing at a place in Culver City called Mandrake Bar. It's just south of the intersection between La Cienega and Venice Boulevard. I start around 9pm and I'll be DJing an hour or so.

If that isn't enough information to grab your attention, I'm actually appearing as part of the bar's regular Cinesounds series, where they screen two movies and then have DJs come in and play
thematically-appropriate music.

This week the theme is zombie movies - they're showing Romero's Dawn of the Dead and Jackson's Dead Alive - and I'll be playing a lot of authentic zombie movie soundtracks, some old
school breaks, and maybe some horror-themed disco (the theme to Friday the 13th Part III, anyone?)
