Video Nasties Still Exist

Variety.com reports that The British Board of Film Classification has banned the DVD release of writer/director Nick Palumbo's Murder Set-Pieces, originally released in the U.S. on disc in '06.

It seems to be the latest political poster child admid recent allegations from PM Gordon Brown that violent movies (and videogames, comic books, etch-a-sketches, etc.) beget real-world violence.

Murder Set-Pieces joins the revered ranks of other horror movies banned in Britain, which include Cannibal Ferox, Faces of Death, Don't Go Near the Park, The Toolbox Murders, Evil Dead, and many more.
