If you live in Kentucky, you may want to cancel your plans tonight and find a way onto the WSU campus. At 7 pm, "Night of the Living Dead" legend George Romero will appear at Western Kentucky University to talk about his career and aspects of filmmaking. Romero is expected to give a speech about his experiences as a cinematographer and director, which will be followed by a "making of" documentary of his 1968 classic zombie flick "Night of the Living Dead". After this, the movie "Night of the Living Dead" will be shown.

The lecture is free and open to the public, but will probably be packed. The campus advises attendees to arrive early to insure a seat in the audience.

Romero has made over 30 films in his life and influenced countless directors. "Dawn of the Dead", a film in his classic zombie series, is currently undergoing a remake. Zack Snyder's "Dawn of the Dead" will star Sarah Polley, Ving Rhames, and Jake Weber, and should hit theaters on March 26.
