Luck is all about being in the right place at the right time. J.C. Loader got lucky in September when she happened to be singing at a bar where "Punisher" director Jonathan Hensleigh happened to be looking for a singer for the movie's big nightclub scene.

Hensleigh needed her to do a "torchy song with a piano", so Loader and keyboardist Rob Stoney wrote a piece called "Jealous One". While performing in the movie, she met "Punisher" stars John Travolta Will Patton, Laura Haring and James Carpinello. Says Loader, "The wardrobe lady was great. They had me wear this spaghetti strap evening gown, black with red flowers and a shawl."

The singer has never been in a movie, though she's always wanted to be an actress. There's no telling how much of her scene will make the final cut or whether her song will make the soundtrack. If she does end getting screen time and people like what they see, it could be the beginning of a new career for Loader - and a story to tell her friends.
