ABOUT QEETASTROPHE:: The Qeetastrophe Project was born from the pain felt by the families of Paul Nicholasi of Dread Central and his good friend Steve Sievers of the Level27 Clothing, who have lost loved ones to Cancer. Seeking to strike a blow in their names and send a message to the world, the pair repurposed two 16 inch, glow in the dark Qee figures as auction pieces, enlisting their friends in the worlds of horror and music to sign them. Proceeds from the two auctions will benefit St. Jude's Pediatric Research Hospital.
"On TV at any given time of the day, you'll find advertisements for Cancer treatment centers" remarked Paul Nicholasi of Dread Central. "It's become big business and you have to ask yourself why there is so much more Cancer in the world today than there was even five years ago. On this subject, apathy can be the real killer. We hope to raise awareness to this growing crisis and hopefully, give some children a fighting chance at the same time."
